U 1156 was raised next to U 1155.
They are a pair.

Snorre och Krok reste sten denna efter
Härjulv, efter fader sin.
The English translation:
Snorre and Krok rasied this stone in
memory of Härjulv,
their father. |

1155 and 1156 are a pair of stones that
are now standing at
Hjälteberga farm,
one on each side of the gate. Earlier,
they were standing on a field close by.
Runes 15-16 (R) have an unusual shape. Wonder what Erik was
thinking there.
There are four S-runes, all facing in the
right
direction.
