The 1000-year-old Kville Oak
In the forests of Småland, Norra Kvill, a thousand-year-old oak grows and Gert Christi lives nearby.

His interest in vikings has led to the construction of two Viking-age houses, a longhouse and a smaller house.

In 1997, Gert felt that the Viking age houses should also be supplemented with a rune stone and I got the assignment.

In the spring of 1997, I was painting the ornamentation and runic inscriptions on a large stone.

Are you going to Småland to see the old oak
you should of course also visit Gert and his rune stone.
